
Gabriel A. Tolliver; Writer/Producer/Director.
A'92 graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Film/TV program.
While as a self supporting student at NYU, Gabriel formed his own production company
and record label; Guerrilla Filmworks & Records. In addition, he created and
still manufactures the popular NYU FILM brand of T-shirts and hats that have become
the official logo of the NYU film program. After graduating, Gabriel was hired
by MTV where he eventually became a producer on the popular show, YO! MTV RAPS
and other MTV programming. In 1994, Gabriel left MTV to write, produce and direct
commercials, films, and videos through his company. Currently, Gabriel is writing
several feature length screenplays(Winner, 1998 Urbanworld Film Festival Screenplay
competition for "SPOOK CITY", Winner,1999 Levi's Docker Khaki pants
Mini Film contest held in association with the Independent Feature Project). In
1998, Gabriel received a Master's Degree in Interactive Telecommunications from
NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with an emphasis in streaming media. He lives in
Ft. Greene, Brooklyn New York.
