
Christopher Lyman Brown recently completed his
Masters in Fine Arts from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. After a
stint in the production department of Grey Advertising in New York, Chris lived
in London and Brazil before landing in California. In Los Angeles, Chris has worn
many hats in the production and post-production of numerous commercial, feature,
television, and independent film projects. In between production jobs Chris has
authored three films and a promotional video for Window Shoppers, a film advertising
company. Americana: Forever a Rebel is his graduate thesis film. The film gained
best student documentary at the Santa Clarita Film Festival and the Angelus Awards,
along with honors at the Fort Lauderdale International Festival and WorldFest
Charleston, among other festivals. The film was included in the Documental film
series in Santa Monica and was written up by LA Weekly. Chris was also interviewed
from Brazil by National Public Radio. He recently completed a feature-length narrative
script based on his documentary. Chris currently works in the feature development
department for Lakeshore Entertainment, a major film production company at Paramount
Studios.
