Cliff House Productions started with the idea that
the short film should not be a calling card to Hollywood, but an end
product of the independent filmmaker's vision in and of itself.
Great short films are normally
seen only by a film class, group of friends or a film fest audience
and then they are tossed into a box and never viewed again. Cliff
House Compilations is a means to share a handful of these films
with a wider audience through the video medium (DVD coming soon).

Cliff House Productions was founded in 1996 by Diane
Frances Barberini and Margi Beima in a San Francisco basement. They're
still there.
